Colorado Resources
This has been a difficult time trying to adjust to new social distancing recommendations, restaurant restrictions, Stay at home orders and everything else involved. Here are some resources i put together for anyone that may need them.
I've never attempted this before but i have put together a forum so people can stay connected if they would like, or share resources or programs they have found.

School Resources
There are several different school districts that are helping with food, and technology. I've also have a lot of online resources i like to use for the kids as well.
Schools are offering free meals to their kids.

Denver Public Schools is offering free breakfast and lunch for all kids 1-18 years old, via drive up (click here for more info)

Aurora Public Schools is offering free breakfast, lunch, and dinner to both it's students and adults (click here for more info)

Cherry Creek Schools is providing free breakfast and lunch to their students. (click here for more info)

Schools are also preparing to start remote learning. I know our district already distributed Chromebooks, but i have recieved messages that you can make personal requests if you missed the distributions. I do not know if this is the same for all schools but here are their pages

Denver Public Schools - Remote Learning

Aurora Public Schools- Remote Learning

Cherry Creek Public Schools - Remote Learning

These sites can also provide you information for how to get free internet or wifi if you are in need to remotely learn.

If anyone needs medical services for their child, contact your district. Most districts offer some sort of free or low cost medical clinic within the district.

Food Resources
There are a lot of additional food resources available besides the ones found at Schools several of the ones i have found are broken down below by county.

*If you are having a hard time finding formula (i've struggled a few times with this, with empty store shelves) try calling your pediatrician, many will help you with both formula and diapers if you are in need and can't find them in the store.

** Note, since i've started putting together this resource list several school districts have expanded their meal program to include Adults, and Dinner, as well as some delivery depending on where you live.
Food Bank of the Rockies is a good resource regardless of where you live in Colorado, you can find out through their page where foodbanks and food pantries in your area are located.

Guy Fieri has also launched a Restuarant Employee relief fund. Much like other sites due to increased traffic it can be a pain to get through. He is offering $500 one time grants to restuarant workers effected by hour cuts, lay offs etc. due to Covid 19. The application site is here.
